We give to MFS because... The Obermeier Family - Moorestown, NJ
Ron and Toni Obermeier are the parents of three girls, Jordan, an MFS Lower Schooler, Tia and Savannah. Ron joined the MFS faculty 15 years ago, and serves as a Middle and Upper School mathematics and finance teacher, as well as Assistant Athletic Director and Varsity Baseball Coach. Ron holds both a B.S. and an M.Ed. from St. Joseph’s University, where he is also a member of their Athletic Hall of Fame. Toni is a public school educational psychologist. "It is easy to see the difference a MFS education
makes in the lives of
our children. Several thoughts come to mind. First,
MFS teaches our children the importance of being responsible contributors
to the community. The strong emphasis on social development
through Quaker education and Meeting for Worship mimic the morals and
values that we teach at home. The academic program is stellar and
technologically advanced. The smaller class size allows for more
individual attention and learning opportunities outside the classroom. There
is a strong mutual respect between students and teachers, and it is not
uncommon for students to contact their teacher at home to ask a question
and to sit with their teachers in the lunchroom. All in all,
our kids leave for school with a smile and return the same way. MFS
provides our family with a safe, nurturing environment that stresses
more than just academics. We feel truly blessed to be part of such
a wonderful community." – Ron and Toni Obermeier
