MOORESTOWN FRIENDS BASKETBALL TEAMS TO PARTICIPATE IN FSL CHARITY BASKETBALL TIPOFF

MOORESTOWN, NJ – Moorestown Friends School Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams will participate in a Friends School League "Charity Basketball Classic Tip Off Tournament" on Fri., Jan. 13, 2006 to benefit children worldwide. The tournament is being sponsored by the Friends Schools League, and all eight member schools’ Boys and Girls Varsity teams will compete in the tournament at The Shipley School.

The MFS Boys Varsity Basketball Team will compete against the Academy of New Church at 3:30 p.m. at Shipley and the MFS Girls Varsity Basketball team will play ANC at 5 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the door for admission to the games, with proceeds to benefit the American Friends Service Committee's Initiative for Children.
