Junior Emily Jones, of Mount Holly, has been selected to attend the New Jersey Governor’s School of International Studies. The highly selective program is a four-week residential program at Ramapo College that allows students to acquire an active concern for the future of New Jersey in relationship to global issues. Participants research global issues, debate challenging international problems and formulate policy.
The Governor's School of New Jersey is a unique summer program committed to meeting the educational needs of artistically or academically talented high school students who have completed their junior year. Governor’s School programs are offered in the Arts, Engineering and Technology, the Environment, International Studies, Public Issues, and Science.
