MFS News May 14, 2010 TWO STUDENTS INDUCTED IN WORLD LANGUAGE HONOR SOCIETIES
Two students were inducted into world language honor societies at a ceremony the evening of May 13. Named to the French Honor Society was senior Jacob Montgomery. Named to the Spanish Honor Society was junior Mary Elizabeth Boccolini. The French and Spanish Honor Societies recognize superior achievement in world languages at the intermediate or advanced level and superior academic achievement in a student’s total program. The organizations, with chapters at MFS since 1989, are designed to promote interest in the study of French and Spanish language and culture. The Société Honoraire de Français and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica are national organizations with chapters throughout the United States.
